When Faith Feels Distant (And Why That’s Okay)

There will be seasons when faith feels close — and seasons when it feels far away.

Distance doesn’t mean failure.
It means something is shifting.

Faith can ebb and flow with life. Doubt doesn’t cancel belief — it often deepens it. Asking questions doesn’t push faith away; it invites honesty.

You are allowed to return as many times as you need.

Faith will meet you there.

Journal Prompts

  • When has my faith felt strongest — and when has it felt distant?

  • What would returning to faith gently look like for me?

A Closing Prayer

May you feel welcomed back, without shame.
May faith meet you with patience and grace.
May you trust that returning is always allowed.
Amen 🤍
